More than 77,000 kilometres covered, a record number of participants, and 40,000 PLN donated to charitable causes – this is the best way to summarise the 8th edition of the Velvet CARE Sport Challenge. Once again, this year’s event proved that physical activity can be not only a source of personal satisfaction and healthy competition, but also a meaningful way to support those in need.
A total of 87 participants took part in the challenge, making it the largest edition in the programme’s history. Employees competed across various activities, collecting kilometres through cycling, running and walking.
Together, they covered 77,407.6 km, setting a new event record.
Thanks to the participants’ commitment, the challenge also achieved a record-breaking charitable result. A total of 40,000 PLN will be donated to support charitable organisations.
For years, the Velvet CARE Sport Challenge has brought employees together around a common goal, promoting an active lifestyle, team spirit and the idea of helping others. Every kilometre counts, and every effort contributes to meaningful social impact.
