Brand Velvet rewarded!


“The Consumer Quality Leader 2014” is a countrywide consumer programme aimed at selecting products that in the consumers’ opinion are the best ones in the Polish market.

Products are grouped into categories, and a set of golden, silver and bronze medals is granted in each of those categories to reflect the position of a given brand as compared to their competitors within the industry.

This year the third edition of the consumer survey was conducted according to CAWI method. It covered almost 9 500 respondents between 18 and 64 years of age.

Examined consumers presented their opinions about different categories of fast-moving consumer goods. The Jagiellonian University in Krakow was responsible for preparation and execution of the consumer survey.

The category of “toilet paper” was won undoubtedly by Velvet brand that received 39.4 per cent of votes. What is also important, as much as ¾ of respondents voting for Velvet declare that they also use this toilet paper.

To explain their choice, the respondents pointed out to: the producer’s care for the highest quality of products, the softest and nicest tissues and the fact that the products meet their expectations in respect to the number of layers, choice of colours and aromas.

Similar situation was observed in the category of paper towels, where 32.2 per cent voted for Velvet and 80 per cent declare that they are regular users of the brand. The consumers value highly the following aspects: softness, durability and performance, functionality and moderate price.
