As part of its recently announced international expansion strategy, the Velvet CARE Group has established Velvet CARE Germany GmbH, which will assume responsibility for the Group’s product sales in the German market and, subsequently, across the wider DACH region, including Austria and Switzerland.
The new company, headquartered in Freiburg, serves a commercial function, managing relationships with major retail chains. Its activities focus on supplying high-quality paper products, with particular emphasis on private label brands.
Velvet CARE Germany manages a team of Customer Business Managers responsible for relationships with individual retail chains, and is supported by a German-speaking back-office team that ensures efficient customer service and operational support.
Stephan Knapp has been appointed Managing Director of Velvet CARE Germany GmbH. He brings many years of experience in the FMCG sector and private label business, gained through roles in sales, marketing, leadership, and business development at companies such as Unilever, Reckitt, and the Dr. Beckmann Group.
