An extraordinary and precisely planned journey is behind us! In the early morning hours of June 7, a unique delivery reached the Velvet CARE factory in Klucze – the cylinder for our new MP9 paper machine.
This impressive component weighs as much as 145 tons and has a diameter of 5.6 meters! Due to its enormous weight and width, the cylinder was transported as an oversized load. The operation required advanced logistical planning and continuous escort over a route of nearly 2,000 kilometers.
As scheduled, just before 1:00 PM, the cylinder arrived safely at its final destination in the newly constructed production hall. This marks another important milestone bringing us closer to launching the new MP9 paper machine!
