In the morning of 28 April 2017, a transport with the huge cylinder weighing 145 tons arrived in our plant in Klucze.
The cylinder started its journey in Świnoujście; from there, it was transported on a barge to Opole. The last leg of the journey (only 100 km) from Opole to Klucze lasted a week. This was related to the immense dimensions and the cylinder’s weight. The component, placed on a special semi-trailer, was transported only at night; what is more, it was often necessary to dismantle road infrastructure or energy lines. Bedmet Logistics was responsible for the entire operation.
