Velvet CARE participated in the organisation of the 5th Tesco Foundation Charity Run [Fundacja Tesco Dzieciom]. Thanks to our company, the Children’s University Hospital in Kraków is now equipped with a specialised rehabilitation robot.
On 10 September 2016, the 5th Tesco Foundation Charity Run was organised in Błonia Park in Kraków. The funds collected during the Run were used to purchase a PRODROBOT, that is an automated gait trainer used for rehabilitating patients with gait difficulties.
Since 2012, the Tesco Foundation has been implementing programmes intended to help children and teenagers. Runners can choose to run one of three runs: the Family Run which is 3.5 km long, the Main Run of 10 km, and a 100 m long Stiletto Run.
The next run is already scheduled for next year. Hope to see you there!
