The major distinguishing factors for the new Velvet brand include softness, which is the most important feature desired by Polish consumers in the category of hygienic articles, as well as delicacy and white colour. In relation to this, the new icon of Velvet is a polar bear cub, which symbolizes softness and cleanliness. In the case of the logotype, the changes encompass not only modification of the font, but also additional slogan “Soft Like Velvet”, well known among Poles, as its integral part.
