Vice President of the Management Board, Commercial Director

I’ve been with the company since the… nineties! I started as regional sales manager responsible for the Poznań region (International Paper) in 1999, and already then I knew that I would stay “for longer”. Five years later, it was time for change – I moved to Warsaw and took up the position of Business Development Manager under the company’s ownership by Kimberly Clark. This was an interesting challenge linked to searching for market niches and business development opportunities. My next step was the post of Customer Business Manager (CBM): new products, new customers, and new experiences.

With the onset of 2010, I was tasked with a new mission and became responsible for the entire traditional market in Poland. In 2013, when Velvet CARE was established, I became Sales Director and Member of the Management Board. Today, I’m responsible for the commercial side of Velvet CARE: sales, marketing, as well as the category development department in Poland and in export markets. Although I’ve spent half my life working for the company and I know it “inside out”, I feel like I’m always developing. In Velvet CARE, I meet not only great professionals but above all exceptional and authentic people, who have always been the greatest value of this company, and for me personally a real inspiration (and sometimes also a real challenge).

Production Process Engineer,

I had my first experience of working for Velvet CARE during my university studies in June 2015. As a student of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, I had a three-month internship at the Maintenance Department. On completion of the trainee programme, I focused on completing my studies. I didn’t think that I would be returning to the paper mill in Klucze, especially since I started working for an automotive company in 2016, but in 2017 I received a call that a new paper machine was scheduled for commissioning.

After successful recruitment, on 1 September 2017, I became a Velvet CARE employee. In just over two years, I worked as Beaterman, Paper Machine Attendant – Shift Supervisor, and Production Process Engineer. As a result, I have become comprehensively acquainted with the processes taking place in the Production Department. I am glad to have the opportunity to work for a company that guarantees professional development.

Senior HR and Payroll Specialist,

My adventure with Velvet CARE started in July 2018. Before I joined our company, I was handling HR payroll in a large state administration company for several years. The HR and Payroll Division of Velvet CARE was the place where I started to work as a Junior HR and Payroll Specialist. I greatly value teamwork and I knew, from the very beginning, that the team I joined and have the pleasure of working with to this day, consists of excellent specialists in their respective fields and holds a great atmosphere.

The following years brought more changes in my career: first promotion to the position of Specialist and then Senior HR and Payroll Specialist. The work at Velvet CARE is not only an opportunity for ongoing development, but also for contacts, cooperation with other people and new experiences. All of this happens in the constant company of digits.

I am very happy that I can do the things I like within the structures of our company.

Process Specialist,

I started to work for Velvet CARE in May 2019, a week after my matriculation exam. Since the very beginning of my career in the Converting Division, my work was related to the folded products production lines, specifically the MTC, where boxed tissues are produced. After a year, already as the Second Operator, I joined the newly-designed M2 line and then after 1.5 years, I passed the examination and became the First Operator. I was quickly promoted to the position of line leader. Eventually, I passed another examination and became the Second Inter-Line Operator.

At the present moment, I hold the position of Process Specialist. I handle current production issues, I make sure that the lines operate in the most optimum way and the employees have proper tools, materials and knowledge necessary for safe and effective work. I combine work with studies at the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering.

I have been associated with Velvet CARE since 2017. This is my second job, yet the first one strictly related to my profession, in line with my education – I studied economics, finance and accounting.

For the first three and a half years I worked at the department of Business Analyses in Warsaw, first as Junior Specialist, later as Specialist and ultimately as Senior Specialist. The work with commercial departments was very interesting, dynamic and full of challenges.  Each day brought new tasks in the area of finances, which not only allowed me to develop personally, but also taught me and showed me – on the example of my colleagues – the importance of not only digits, but also the negotiation skills and interpersonal relations.

2021 was a time of change.  I joined the Production Controlling team in Klucze and in the following year I accepted the position of Department Manager. The production plant and cooperation with production and logistic departments is a completely different world. At the present moment, I monitor and analyse costs. I prepare reports and analyses that are sent to the Management Board and form the basis of decisions in the area of development and improved efficiency of our business.
